Masha has a deep passion for philanthropy and impact giving through personal empowerment and is the Engagement Manager for SVTP and the Education Portfolio Manager. She has a background in non-profit work and previously worked with the U.S. State Department-Funded Productivity Enhancement Program focused on business development overseas. She was involved in foreign policy initiatives where she facilitated a ten-day summit on Capitol Hill between members of U.S. Congress, U.S. Government Agencies and 100 Russian business owners.
Masha also co-founded a Bay-area project to provide housing, health and education benefits to Ugandan children orphaned by HIV/AIDS. Masha helped coordinate Wisdom 2.0, a Silicon Valley-based conference focused on exploring the intersection of wisdom and technology. She has an intense curiosity about the world which translates into a deep love of travel. Masha is an avid spiritual seeker, loves books, nature, and chocolate.
As Engagement Manager, Masha has responsibilities for Private/ Public Partnership (PPP) programs for all cities in Silicon Valley. As the Education Portfolio lead, she is scaling STEM programs across schools and districts in the Bay area.
Masha holds M.A. in International Relations from San Francisco State University.
Jenny brings nearly a decade of experience that spans across public, nonprofit and private sectors. Immediately prior to joining SVTP, Jenny was an Associate Director at CCS Fundraising, a leading nonprofit fundraising consulting firm, where she directly managed multi-million dollar capital campaigns and conducted campaign feasibility studies for nonprofit clients. Jenny also previously served as Fundraising and Event Director for the Harbus Foundation at Harvard Business School, where she envisioned and successfully executed the foundation’s first-ever fundraiser gala. She has also worked in the public sector at organizations including the Allegheny County Department of Human Services in Pittsburgh, PA, and CONNECT, a public partnership initiative that aims to bridge the communication gap between the City of Pittsburgh and its 36 bordering municipalities.
Jenny is a regular volunteer with Harvard Business School Community Partners, the pro bono consulting arm of the Harvard Business School Association of Northern California, and has donated hundreds of hours to nonprofit clients in the form of developing marketing plans and growth strategies. In 2014, Jenny also volunteered for SVTP on an internal strategy project with former Executive Director Lea King.
She holds a BA in Journalism from Creighton University, where she graduated summa cum laude, and an MPA in Public and Nonprofit Management from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a Silicon Valley native.
Marci Weisblatt Gordon brings a long career in nonprofit management and leadership to SVTP. Prior to joining SVTP, Marci worked for the UCLA Alumni Association. For several years, she served as the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for all programming, marketing and volunteer relations. She was appointed the Interim Executive Director/Assistant Vice Chancellor, Alumni Relations in 2007, leading the organization through a period of significant transition and launching several key partnerships. Most recently, Marci was the Senior Director of the Alumni Board, providing support and guidance to the organization’s board of directors.
While at UCLA, Marci was active with the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), serving on the faculty of several conferences and on the Commission for Alumni Relations, an international advisory group.
Marci began her nonprofit career at the American Heart Association, initially serving as a Senior Regional Director and eventually rising to Vice President of Corporate Events. She was recognized during her tenure with two national awards: the Newcomer’s Award and the Award of Excellence for a Community Organization.
Marci graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Communications Studies.
